How to use the JET Mill Drill

Ask a core member to unlock the outlet

You must always ask permission prior to using the mill

A core member must always be in the room, in visible range, and realistic proximity while machine is in use

What do you need to do?

If drilling a hole, obtain the appropriate drill bit and put it in

If milling an edge, obtain the appropriate end mill and put it in

If milling from the inside, obtain an endmill that can also drill down and put it in

Always clamp part in vise

If making through cuts, space it off from the vise using parallels

Turn on the switch

Pull the chuck thingie to move bit up and down

The handle on the left moves the table along the x axis

The handle in front moves the table along the y axis

Turn machine off

Clean up metal shavings and machine
