    • Make sure you're cutting appropriate material! If you're not sure, check the MSDS or ask another student.

  2. Turn on water chiller Turn on Laser Cutter using Key Connect using ethernet to designated laptop

  3. Open RetinaEngrave on the Dell Open file-to-be lazed. File -> Print to FullSpectrum RetinaEngrave Driver.

    • Set Raster Settings, Vector Settings. Refer to video on how to do this.

  4. Place material to be cut on bed Use the plastic tool to align vertical (z) height of bed

    • Use x/y functions on RetinaEngrave to move laser head to proper start point

    • Run perimeter to make sure the cut will be clean.

    • Warning! Don't stare directly into the laser.
